Hello Everyone!! Happy New Year to you all!! 2013 is here and the world still hasn't ended yet!! LOL!!! Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN!!

Newtown, Connecticut

On Dec. 14, 2012, a gunman killed 26 people, including 20 children between the ages of 6 and 7, at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, about 65 miles northeast of New York City. The gunman, Adam Lanza, 20, killed himself inside the Sandy Hook Elementary School. The killing spree had begun earlier at the house where Mr. Lanza had lived with his mother, Nancy Lanza, who was a gun enthusiast. There, he shot her in the face, making her his first victim. One of her guns was apparently used to take her life, authorities said. Then, leaving her dead after taking three guns that belonged to her, he climbed into her car for the short drive to the school. Two of the guns were semiautomatic pistols; the other was a semiautomatic rifle. Once Mr. Lanza had forced his way in, wearing combat gear, the massacre unfolded with chilling speed, as he opened fire in one classroom and then another. In the wake of the killings, the debate on gun control has been revived. President Obama’s first words in response to the shootings were cautious and were immediately criticized for being too timid. But they may have set the stage for reopening the gun debate. Former classmates described Adam Lanza as an enigma, a loner who was intelligent but quiet and socially awkward. The mass shooting is the second deadliest in American history, after the 2007 massacre at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, which claimed 32 lives. This is a devstating event in American history.

Back On Track

Hello, friends & neighbors! I'm back with some news. I would add the word exciting, but I'm gonna let you decide about that. Anyway, my news is that the LA Lakers are back on track. Despite their TERRIBLE start of 1-4 at the beginning of the season, they made a few comebacks and now they're 5-5. If you ask me, that's pretty good! Well, they have 4 Superstars on their team, and they should make it to the Play-offs if they keep this up! Well, now you can decide whether this is good news (FOR YOU) or whether YOU don't care. Anyway, that's all I got to say!

So, Until Next Time

Hurricane Sandy

The number of NY fatalities because of Hurricane Sandy jumped to 38 today (Thursday, November 1st, 2012). The storm was blamed for more than 80 deaths in the United States, including the 38 in New York City that was announced on Thursday, updating the toll of 24 given on Wednesday. In the region, there were at least 8 in New Jersey and 4 in Connecticut, and numbers are expected to climb as rescue crews uncover the full scale of the damage to buildings and infrastructure. In New York City, the police said 19 victims were from Staten Island, 9 from Queens, 7 from Brooklyn and 3 in Manhattan. People still coped with the loss of everyday essentials — elevators, lights, cellphone service, Wi-Fi, refrigeration, hot showers, etc. But the return of some transportation services was cautiously welcomed, even as commuters and residents still had to negotiate crawling traffic, half-mile lines at suburban gas stations and city buses stuffed beyond capacity.
Subway service resumed on more than half of the city’s 23 lines, but several — the No. 3 and 7 trains and the B, C, E, G and Q trains — remained dark. Many trains will have large gaps in their routes, including the No. 4 train, which will have no service between 42nd Street in Manhattan and Borough Hall in Brooklyn because of flooding in its tunnel beneath the East River and power problems. Subways and buses will be free for the rest of the week.
Shuttle buses are linking the boroughs from the transportation hub at the Barclays Center and from Hewes Street on the border of Williamsburg and Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. Vehicle traffic on city streets was exceptionally heavy as drivers tried to make it into Manhattan before 6 a.m., when the city required at least three people in cars entering Manhattan over the Robert F. Kennedy, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges, but not the George Washington Bridge.
While traffic had cleared up in some areas, much of the region’s arterial system remained a parking lot well past the typical morning commute. WOW!!

Temple Run (cheat)

Ok, so there is this WAY COOL new game called Temple Run. It's really addicting... If you don't know what Temple Run is, click here. Anyway, I found a cheat just by being lazy! If you have any iOs device with Temple Run, open the application and follow these easy steps to get unlimited points.
1. Go to the main menu.
2. Go to the options tab.
3. Turn on the tutorial if it is off.
4. Go back to the main menu and touch play.
5. When you approach a turn, the game says "Swipe To Turn". When you get near the turn, swipe 3 or 4 times.
6. Repeat Step 5 for next turn.
7. Repeat Step 5 for the 3rd turn.
8. The path will have no more coins, but it will just be a straight road forever!! LITERALLY!!
9. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: This cheat will not help you get any achievements ( for ex. "10 Million Club" ). If you want to get the last achievement you must do it manually.

The Super Bowl

I'm back! But, it's not necessarily good news. The 2012 Super Bowl match-ups have been decided. It's the Patriots VS the Giants. The Patriots are okay, but the Giants... They cheated the 49ers out of their win! My dream Super Bowl this year was 49ers VS Ravens. Dreams: DEMOLISHED!!! Anyway, you probably got my point. So, January 29, 2012 is the Pro-Bowl, but the Super Bowl is on February 3, 2012.

Ok, I know this is like GROSS, but you have to see THIS: THE POOP BURGER!!
Seriously, it's a burger made out of (so called) human feces (a.k.a) poo!! The thing is priced like two times the amount of a regular burger. If you scroll down (at the link in the first sentence), there is a YouTube Video. It goes on to talk about how people have "psychological issues" and how if their "psychological issues" stop them from eating it, the burger will be a waste of money.
So, I know it's disgusting and all, but...

Happy New Year!

Ah! Happy New Year! 2012 is coming closer. People all over the world are going to be celebrating the new year. It's a time to start over fresh. I love the New Year Celebration we have every year! Unfortunately, just like 4 days after New Year's day, gotta... go... back... ugh... to school... But, you get to have a 2 week winter break. Winter break "flies" though (just how "time flies").   :-(

The Social Network Connection

Social networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc, have been taking over peoples' time. From my point of view, Facebook (literally) is the only "book" we read everyday. People are on FB almost 24/7. 10 years ago, people interacted with E-mail and it was much more "formal". These days, if you send someone a happy b-day E-mail, they might or might not read it. But, on the other hand if you put it on their Facebook wall, there is a 95% chance of that person seeing it (provided that they even have a Facebook Account).
Now, even before jobs hire people they check Facebook. Even if you have "Straight A's", if you have nasty stuff on your Facebook Wall... I'll let you see for yourself...
It's great people have found their old friends from long ago, but I think people are abusing their social networks like crazy! They talk about almost everything on there! Even kids (some under legal age) use Facebook. Mostly becuz they want to be popular. Personally, I like the Facebook games. LOL!!
And yes, I saw the "share on Facebook and Twitter" thing on the sidebar. I just felt like putting that there.
